Undermount Sink Options
Undermount kitchen sinks provide a smooth, seamless look in your kitchen and make cleanup easy with no visible lip. Inset or top-mount sinks are installed with the lip or rim on top of the countertop. They’re also referred to as drop-in sinks because they’re installed by being dropped into a hole cut in the countertop. Undermount sinks, on the other hand, are installed under the countertop surface thanks to a custom sink-size cutout (along with space for your kitchen faucet, soap dispenser, and other sink materials). This installation type has the added benefit of making your kitchen easier to clean, as it eliminates the mounting rim that sits on top of the counter.
Apron Sinks
An apron front sink has a distinct look due to its exposed front. Also known as a farmhouse sink, apron front sinks were designed to be added to a space cutout in the cabinetry. The apron sink offers both fashion and functionality.
