What makes Granite by Designer Stone, the natural choice for your home?
Natural in Appearance
As a natural product, granite's patterns and colors vary from slab to slab, even within a single slab.
Granite is second in hardness to diamonds. With normal use, nothing in the kitchen will chip, ding, or break granite.
Granite can withstand a dish hot from the oven or stove right onto it's surface.
By its nature, granite is extremely dense and excellent at repelling stains. However, since granite is porous, it must be sealed with a sealant to prevent the possibility of stains occurring.
The finish on granite is polished with diamonds and, with normal use, will never wear or fade as long as you own your home. Cutting on a granite top with kitchen cutlery will not scratch or damage it.
Because granite can be polished to a nonporous high shine the tiles are naturally antibacterial making granite tiles ideal for kitchens.
The Designer Stone Company has over 36 granite colors. The photos on our website are for general coloration and movement consideration purposes only. We highly recommend visiting our facility to get a full representation of the stone's characteristics.
Please also note that these are average samples only. Due to granite being a natural material, rough block, slabs, tiles, and monuments are all liable to vary in colour and veining, therefore absolute resemblance cannot be guaranteed.
